how can i play commercial bd movies without an internet connexion?
armand
@Arman After you play the commercial bd movies with internet connection for the first time, you will not need to play it with an internet later.
How can I play double-layer blu-ray disks without the breakup of image on the screen?
Can u please contact me. Because All bd movies are just stuck on loading in air.tv
@Alexis Pinto, Our Support Team will contact you.
In my humble opinion, as an avid computer user since the commodore VIC-20, Ihave to say that your Mac Blu-ray player is simply the best I have tried, it can play anything i throw at it, which is a lot more that Q-time and Windows Media player.
hello, can this application be updated so it can show the bluray’s “real” menu not the fake one it shows up.
and how do I get rid of that writing in the middle of the screen!, the trial never used to have that… and whats the difference between the paid and trial version??
thanks
@Aaron, We has just been granted Blu-ray License and has become one of BD licensee of BD Organisation. And the Blu-ray Menu is on our plan.
The difference between paid version and trial version is only on the Blu-ray playback, there will be an watermark with the BD playback. There will any watermark with other video playback.
Dear Sirs , in April you mention that your 3d support will be available …. When ?
best regards
@renato, We were just permitted Blu-ray License by BD Organisation, and 3D is on our plan. After upgrading our features of our software, 3D feature will be added to Mac Blu-ray Player.
Hello
I’m trying, unsuccessfully, to get a response from your support team. I have issues with playing Prometheus Blu Ray with your software but can’t determine if it is the drive or the software. Both parties are blaming each other. Can some escalate this for me?
Many thanks.
@Rob Shaop Sorry for replying late, we have resolved this problem.
I set up my Mac Mini to run Boot Camp so that I can try out three supposedly great Blu Ray playing programs: WinDVD Pro 11, PowerDVD 12 and Total Media Theatre.
My grandson has destroyed a lot of my DVD and Blu Ray discs so I have taken to ripping them to my hard drives. My aim was to test the above software and decide which one to buy.
Some of the programs stuttered when playing back the BD movie. Others did well with BD but not with mkv files or .vob files. Others failed to open a particular movie. With all of the programs, I had to use a virtual drive to mount the BD ISO image file before playing the movie.
I have taken extensive notes over a period of three weeks of testing on and off and I came to the conclusion that not one of them was worth buying. I had to buy all three in order to achieve my aim. But I didn’t want to have to tell my family members, “When you want to play BD, use this program, when you want to play mkv, use this program …”
What a waste of time and effort. But then I stumbled on a web page for Mac Blu Ray Player (MBRP).
WOW! And again: WOW! WOW! WOW!
This program is BRILLIANT! It has played everything flawlessly, and I mean everything! No need to use a virtual drive in order to mount the ISOs as the other software requires. I have tested MBRP with ISOs of BD and BD 3D and it works beautifully. Sure, it doesn’t play back in 3D, but it stills plays the movie in 2D with subtitles, perfect audio and no stuttering.
It has played all of my movies in various formats without a hitch: mkv, .vob, .mp4.
To the developers: You are on a winner here. Please keep up the excellent work. Please, please, please keep working to allow 3D playback. This would make this program, in my opinion, the best.
And to those readers suspicious of such a glowing review, no, I am not affiliated in any way with this company. I am a happy end user who has saved himself a lot of money by not buying three software programs. Only MBRP is required for my needs.
I am a Mac user by heart so I hope the program is as good on the Mac OS as it is in Windows. Which leads me to ask, is there a discount for buying both a Mac version and a PC version?
I only hope that 3D playback is implemented soon. Well done to all the people involved with this software.
@Perdox, We are sorry to reply you late. and thank you very much for your comment. We have a big disount for suite(Mac & PC). Please refer to http://www.macblurayplayer.com/store.htm
I have had trouble with compatibility. We have had to download the software several times. Currently I am unable to use it because an error message says my registration key is invalid. Not only that but another error message says My pathway to your customer service e-mail system us unusable because it was improperly installed. Please help me.
@Al Volker, Sorry to reply late. As to the problem with your registration key, you can send your purchase infomation to support @macblurayplayer.com and the will give you promot reply.

I love your product :-)
Best regards.
I’m a bit torn here. I downloaded your product toward the end of 2011 when I bought an LG blu-ray player (external), and was completely underwhelmed by the quality. I must admit, I just downloaded the newest rev (haven’t purchased yet) and was pleased to see that it was actually playing a blu-ray disc. So I figured, hey, why not get it again this time. But then I saw your little annotation that you are licensing this ala Microsoft – not to the user, but to the computer. And, much like my feelings toward Microsoft, it stopped me cold. First of all, I as the user, may have more than one computer. Why, the nature of how life is. I have a desktop computer and a laptop. I only use one at a time and I will not buy any software that requires me to purchase multiple licenses to cover my multiple computers. When you fix that glaring flaw, then I will buy your software – it appears to work better than the version I got in 2011.
@Bill Ball, thank you for your support as always, I will pass on your feedback to our Marketing and Tech Team.
I purchased this player and like a rogue spy agent it has taken over my Apple Mac, and refuses to give control back to me. That is, without my explicit permission, it has “registered itself” on my mac as the exclusive player for every multimedia type on my computer. I purchased it only for playback of BluRay discs…I never authorized it to take over playback of all media on my computer. Further, when I try to use the players control to “unregister” all those media types, the player refuses to do so.
I’m one unhappy, very dissatisfied customer at the moment. And I’m going to be making as much noise about this problem through every social media site that I can, until this vendor returns playback control of my media to me. This was a “conscious” decision they made to do such registration of content playback, now they get to live by the consequences.
Dear Steven Goss,
Thanks so much for using our software and I’m really really sorry for not replying you in time.
As to your problem, actually you can change this with system:select a format file which you want to use other player to play, right click, select “get info”,then you can select other player under “open with”.
Select “change all”,you can use this setting on all your files.
Best wishes!
OK, so there is Aurora and there is MacBluRay. But your interfaces, business structure, pretty much everything is the same. What gives? I have downloaded both and run both there is only the color difference in the interface.
Are you going to update you app to support the new resolutions in the Retina Macbook Pros?
Hi Eric Blair,
Thanks for support our product!
Now, our app has supported the new resolutions in the Retina MacBook Pros. You can play the Blu-ray with it.
“Founded in 2005,Macgo Inc has over ten years of experience in video conversion and has developed many video conversion tools with advanced technology. ”
> Founded in 2005
> over ten years
are you fucking retarded? rhetorical question.
Hi Kanisterkind,
Just as you said, our company really founded in 2005, but before this, we had did OEM for come company. In some senses, we have done the spadework for our company. Thanks for your attention, please like us and our products.
Hi, just bought the Mac Blu-ray player app (did not bother downloading a trial, since I had read so many good things about your product). Downloaded, installed on my rMBP running OS X 10.8.2, and..nothing good. The app keeps crashing as soon as it’s started up. Any ideas here? Should I send you one of the crash reports?
I’m very disappointed at this stage…
Hi Sum,
I’m so sorry for that. I’ll deal with the problem, please do something as following methods:
1,You can update the Mac Blu-ray Player: open the “tool”, then click “check the updates”.
2,If the update also can not solve your matter, you can send the crash to “support(at)macblurayplayer.com”, my colleague will help you soon.
Thanks for your cooperation.
Okay, I just found out I can only use this software on my laptop.
Not very thrilled.
How much is it to get it to work on my desktop? Do I have to buy another full license?
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks so much for using our software.
I’m sorry to tell you that by our regulation, one license could only be used on single computer.
Actually we can offer you a discounted price at only $15 for a second license since
you have purchased our software once.
And this discount just for once specially for our older users.
Please just feel free to contact me again if you think it acceptable and I will give you the buying link then.
Also tell us which version do you need? Mac version or Windows?
Wish you all the best!
Yes, please email me the link to buy the second license for $15. I use the Mac version. Thanks.
The only other question i have is I’m planning to purchase a new mac desktop in the next month or so, and if I install this software on my current mac desktop, do I have to buy it again for the new computer? If so, I’ll wait to install it until I have the new computer.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thanks so much for your reply.
As to your question, you can totally transfer our software to your new computer, no need to buy again.
I have send email to you at botez@charter.net about the second license purchasing link.
Best wishes!
Why cannot I change subtitle for Bluray on Mac version (2.9.4) even though I can change audio? It means that I can select another subtitle but it does not show while playing bluray. Subtitles seem work perfectly with any kind of format except Bluray. Hope you could help me fix that kind of problem. Thanks a lot!
Dear,
Thanks so much for using our software.
As to your problem, I’m afraid that you can’t change the subtitle while playing Blu-rays under the Blu-ray menu mode at the present time.
You only can reach the Blu-ray menu to change the settings before playing the discs.
We will try to update more function on the Blu-ray menu mode.
Or you can play under the quick play mode which can change the subtitles during playing.
Thanks in advance for your understanding.
Had purchased the Mac Blu-ray player this pass evening and Digital River did not send a registration code. They had run out of codes and I must ask you. Emailed your support but have heard nothing so far. How can I get a code to unlock your player?
Thanks,
PS; the trail runs great on my iMac 27in. with external Blu-ray drive via 800 firewire port.
Dear,
I just resend the registration code to your email:Stephen.Martin38@verizon.net. Please help to check later. Thanks!
How long to wait for the 3d support ?
Dear,
Thanks so much for contacting Macgo.
As to your question, I’m afraid that we don’t support 3D in a short time.
Our tech-department are working quite hard on the Blu-ray menu issue.
We will put 3D function on schedule after Blu-ray menu function is more stable and reliable.
But it may need long time to develop and release it to the public.
And we will try to realize this function in the future versions.
Could you please be a little patient and wait for our next few versions?
Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation and I’m really sorry for your inconvenience at the present moment!
Guys, you HAVE to hire someone who has better English grammar! All English texts on your website and in Mac Blu-ray Player have poor translations… Please get some native speaker or someone proficient in English to correct all the mistakes.
And I don’t understand why I need to be online to watch a Blu-ray. It shouldn’t be necessary to have a live connection to decrypt a Blu-ray.
Other than that, I enjoy using Mac Blu-ray Player.
Dear,
I’m sorry for the delay in response.
As to your question, I’m afraid that you need an internet connection to get our software work at the present time.
It need to connect our server to decrypt Blu-ray discs.
I’d like to tell you that we are working quite hard on the Blu-ray menu function now.
According to the Tech-department schedule, we will try to get rid of internet connection under the Blu-ray menu mode after the Blu-ray menu function is more stable and reliable.
We promised is that we will try our best to realize as far as we can.
Best wishes!
Any update for being able to play 3D?

This is my story of looking for a good blu-rey disk/iso player.
Recently I was looking for a decent blu-ray player soft for Mac. There are many on the market, for example look at this link http://blu-ray-player-software-review.toptenreviews.com/
However, I needed such which would work with my disks and files. I downloaded trial versions of iDeer, Leawo, Macgo, Aurora, Aiseesoft, and DVDfab. Most of them did not do what I needed. So I decided to get the full versions, to make sure there are no any limitations. Leawo, Aiseesoft, and DVDfab just did not play what I needed, but others did (FYI they all have so similar interface – maybe it is the same company?).
In the end , I decided to go with Macgo! It works for me and I like using it.
Of course I requested a refund from others. And I had not problems with all companies but one – Aiseesoft still does not give me my refund. They demand that I would describe what is happening – so I would have to install it again, run, make screenshots, than they would tell me try this and that, etc.
The Aiseesoft website http://www.aiseesoft.com/refund-policy.html provides a short description when you can get a refund and a long page telling you when you CANNOT get a refund. If you must know in the US there is a federal policy about refunds, which trumps company’s policies, but Aiseesoft ignores that law. Aiseesoft just keeps asking me more and more questions. I decided to do a deeper search. Firs what I found – and it was not easy – Aiseesoft is a Chaneese company (you cannot find company’s registration information, but I found this site http://www.aiseesoft.net/contact.html; Address: NO. 566, Shanda Road, Jinan, Shandong Province, China.). They do not have headquarters in the US. They have a representative, a company which handles money transactions, but if you try talking to them they will tell you to talk to Aiseesoft. And if you try to leave a personal review, the website does not have that option. So, if you buy something from Aiseesoft, keep in mind, 1. There are NO reviews from ACTUAL costumers available for you to make your mind (you cannot post on their timeline, you cannot post on their website, there is just no way to spread a word about it); 2. The product might not work for you (I have doubts that they even sell the product they have developed, on their own); 3. You will never get your money back – they built a wall of defense (a strong NOT to refund policy), and they do not honor US laws! If you are looking for some soft 1. Do not use Aiseesoft; 2. Tell your friends the same.
Warning about Aiseesoft (www.aiseesoft.com/)! Do not BUY their product!
