the update does not work with the new Jack Reacher movie. I have not been able to get the bluray disk to work in either the MAC or PC version. It works fine in a conventional blueray player. did the BD folks come out with new copy protection or something?
Hi Greg!
Thanks for using our software!
As to your problem, could you please tell me whether any error message pop up?
Please capture a screenshot of the error message to me if you get any.
Installed the latest version last night. Tried to play a disc and I get the “Failed to open Blu-ray disc.” message. If I revert to previous version (2.8.5.1210) of Mac Blu-Ray Player, the same disc works fine.

I’ve sent a log file to the support address, but macbluray player won’t generate a dat file. Hopefully the log file is enough.
Hi Megan,
With this update I am no longer able to play any disc from the Star Trek TNG Season 3 Blu-ray collection. The error message is:
“Failed to open Blu-ray disc”
The error occurs on both Windows and Mac versions. Previous versions were working without issue.
Can you please provide links to downgrade to version 2.8.5?

How do you stop picture in picture commentary? My blu-ray is doing this automatically, and I can’t see the option to stop it?
The same as above.
How do you disable picture in picture (PIP) commentary?
I’m trying to watch the movie “Abduction” and it automatically does PIP commentary when I don’t want it to.
While all my other movies are playing normally without PIP commentary.
