Apple has held its last special event of the year 2014 on October 16 at 10 a.m. PDT. And the quote “It’s been way too long” on its home page verified the fact that Apple never let its fans down with more significant advancements this time. On the event, Apple unveiled the iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3, iMac with Retina 5K display, Mac mini and OS X Yosemite.
The major feature of Yosemite’s new design is that all of Apple’s devices work more closely together. People can take phone calls from their Mac now, also iCloud drive, AirDrop, AirPlay can synchronize on iOS 8 as well as on Yosemite. According to Apple, this is the beginning of the fusion between Apple’s devices. The official version of OS X Yosemite optimized parts of the app, like Calendar, Safari, Messages, Mail, etc. And another significant change would be the interface, which becomes flatter by taking lessons from from iOS 7.
