Hi
What is your policy for upgrades from version 1 to version 2. I paid for V1 a few months ago.
Stephen
Hi Stephen
If you have been paid for the old version, you can upgrate to the 2.0version as free.
are you selling software or hardware?
i have a mac air and a new sharp 42″ digital tv.
I want to play dvds on the tv
Hi John,
We’re selling Blu-ray player software for Mac.
Yes you can watch movie on the tv via our software.
Sony BDP-S570 3D Blu-ray Disc Player it does the job perfectly well. Excellent uictpre quality, and nice flexibility in sound output. The Sony BDP S570 is one of the perfect blu ray player available today. I had been researching for buying one since last two months and zeroed on SONY (As SONY would be my first choice in audio and video). However, I was truly skeptical reading all the negative comments about the netflix streaming and all by many others. In spite of all these odds, still went ahead and got one last week. It came with the upgraded firmware so it was ready-to-use out of the box for playing 3D blu ray and other features. ###
As we use this on our MacBook Air in our motorhome the internet is not available. Any possibility of a version not requiring internet connection ?
Hi Ray,
Sorry, our software must be connecting to internet when it playback Blu-ray movie.
Why are you saying this? You just need to uncheck “Check verification server connection status” in Preferences.
Will version 2.0 support AirPlay so you can watch it on your TV via AppleTV?
sorry, 2.0 version only support watching bluray on ipad, iphone, ipod touch.
Why are you not working on inbuilt HDCP decryption for movies, in the software? So user don’t have to rely on an internet connection to the “verification server”?
Hi Matt, Mac Blu-ray Player runs by managing Blu-ray license through the Internet. When you insert a Blu-ray disc or open a Blu-ray ISO file, the software system will manage the AACS Keys and other content management features through Macgo servers. So you have to make Mac Blu-ray Player software connected into internet for playing Blu-ray movies firstly.
I am not too sure to understand well: I have a mac air that I can connect to either the Thunderbolt Display or to my TV. I also have an external slim apple dvd reader, however I would like sometimes in the future to be able to watch blue ray.
If I am not mistaken, you are selling a software which allows the OS Lion to read Blue Ray through a normal dvd reader but requires to be connected by wifi or not to internet.
I would like to be able to watch a blue ray without being connected. Do you provide it ?
Best regards
Thierry
Hello Thierry, our software – Mac Blu-ray Player is the first software to make Blu-ray played for Mac. You must equip with a compatible Blu-ray drive or player for Mac to play Blu-ray discs firstly, please follow our tutorial.
We will release our latest Version 2.0 to play Blu-ray on iPad, iPhone and iTouch via WiFi and Home Network.
Why must the software connect to the internet and is the connection required to play the entire movie?
Hi Prime, with regards to network connection, please follow the instruction above.:)
Why is the internet connection required and is it necessary only to start the movie or is the connection required to play the entire movie?
What point is AirX, if the software can’t even play the disc because it can’t connect to the “verification server”? Why not work on inbuilt decryption first?
Hi Matt, AirX makes our users enjoy Blu-ray on iPad, iPhone and iTouch via WiFi and Home Network. With regards to network connection, please follow the instruction above.
I am connected to the internet via a proxy server and am getting the failed to connect to the verification server. The software seems to want to bypass our proxy, instead trying to connect via port 80. Can you supply a support proxy so i can allow this to connect?
Dear Chris,
Thanks so much for using our software and I’m really sorry for the delay in response.
As to your problem, could you please have a check to see whether your firewall or any anti-virus applications are on?
Please turn them off if they are on.
Have a nice weekend!
This is cool!

does your software support Firewire connected drives?

Does your software play 3D blu-rays in 3D? iso or the file it self? I have a iMac 2010 and a Panasonic 46GT30. Caould I connect these two for a 3D experience through your software?
Hi Marius, our software can support Blu-ray for Mac, but 3D will be supported on our subsequent versions. Thanks for your attention.
Is it planned at some point to playback 3D blu rays such as PowerDVD on PC ?
Hi Vibou, we are trying to develop 3D for Mac Blu-ray Player. Thanks for paying attention to our subsequent versions.
Hey,I’ve been lurking for quite a while and finally got round to connecting forum. Looking forward to connecting in with some interesting chats.
Cigar, thanks very much for your support.
The PS3 is a Blu-Ray player. Blu-Ray is its glohnoecty. The firmware means nothing. If its a Blu-Ray player, it will play Blu-Ray movies. Firmware just adds Blu-Ray features (like surround sound formats and upconversion and such).

how is your success on 3d support? i tried the trial, it shows 3d bluray as 2d, did i missed something?
i would instantly buy this software if it would support 3d (direct over hdmi to a 3d samsung tv)
thank you very much
@flames, our 3D is on our plan, and it will takes some time to push to the market.
This internet connection ordeal is very disappointing, I work at a remote research station and this verification server made my blu-ray collection absolutely worthless. Needless to say movie night was canceled for 6 months. Very disappointing software, I hope there will be a software update to fix this.
